About the RESA Workforce Development Project
The Workforce Development Inventory Project was created by the Wayne Regional Educational Service Agency (Wayne RESA), with the support of local school superintendents, to increase access for Wayne County students to workforce education opportunities. In addition, this resource was designed to improve individual career opportunities, and support economic growth in the region through increasing graduates entering the talent pipeline.
The overarching goals of this Workforce Inventory Project are to:
- Ensure every school in Wayne County is aware of every opportunity currently available to their students.
- Create a “one-stop shop” of services to arm all students with available options and a career plan when they leave school.
Ultimately, this Wayne RESA workforce project aims to ensure that all students have access to available programs and services, so that students in Wayne County are college and career ready.
