Program Description

LIFT is Lightweight Innovations for Tomorrow and seeks to develop advanced lightweight materials manufacturing technologies and programs to prepare the workforce.

Pathways to Jobs in Detroit: Connecting Disconnected Youth & Adults to Manufacturing Careers is MI initiative.  Included in development are Mobile Rally Events, Workplace Readiness and Technical Skills Training with Focus Hope, Goodwill and TechShop.

LIFT programs also include Learning Blade, Work & Learn, and MakerMinded.  LIFT is supporting the National Network of Business and Industry Common Employability Skills.
